Deti sedia v triede a počúvajú mužského učiteľa hovoriť o finančnom vzdelávaní.

With the ManoMoneta program, children discover the world of finance.

University of Cambridge has published a study showing that financial habits are formed by the age of seven. EOS KSI Slovakia therefore creates conditions for their educational growth in this area within the framework of social responsibility. With our interactive ManoMoneta program, designed for financial education of primary school students, we interpret key tools for understanding the world of money in a popular-educational way for children. Through the recognition of life values to the creation of budgeting with the creation of prerequisites for the right financial decisions in the future.

Who is ManoMoneta for?

The education initiative was launched in Germany four years ago. During that time, tens of thousands of lessons were taught to more than 100,000 children. From there, the Finlit and ManoMoneta programs spread to other countries of the European Union and, in addition to the Czech Republic, Poland and Slovenia, they also begin their educational journey in the Slovak Republic.

"The interactive lessons are designed for pupils of the fourth, fifth and sixth grades of Slovak primary schools, guided by us, the lecturers, to practical skills. We teach children to manage their finances, create a budget and plan for the future. Fun and memorability are key," confirms Peter Čanda, one of the leading protagonists of the program directed by EOS KSI Slovakia.

Children are involved in all games, financial concepts and financial terminology is familiar to some, less so to some. "We found that they really enjoy it, they have an overview of funds, income and expenses. The playful form is engaging and interesting for them, and when we return to class after a month, they are excited and quite ready," confirms our other colleague, lecturer Mária Gáborová.

The process of creating financial literacy of children happens in the spirit of the motto:

Deti sedia v triede a učia sa o financiách.

We invest in to the education, we invest in to the future!
